Learning and Training - Training and Skills HistoryFor employers who have used the Future Development – Training and Staff Development Planning module to manage and plan staff training and development, use this module to keep track of training and courses attended, any qualification attained, the cost of this training and, where the qualification attained has an expiry date, this is tracked here.
From the "Human Resources" page, select "Learning and Training" from the list of available modules. If "Learning and Training" is not showing, you will need to activate "Professional Development". See "How to enable the HR Management Module" to find out how to enable this module.
Ensure you have selected the correct employee. Select "Add". A new menu will open. Add the relevant data in relation to the module and what you are wanting to track as follows:
Completion Date: Enter the date the course or training was attended or completed.
Course Name: Enter the Name of the course or training attended. Qualification: If a qualification is attained once the training or course is completed enter it here. Description: Use this field to describe the skills obtained. Total Cost: Enter the total cost of attending or completing the training or course. Company Cost: Enter the portion of the total cost which the employer has incurred as a result of the employee attending or completing the training or course. Expiry Date: Enter the date this qualification expires if appropriate. Select "Save". |
