How to set up a KiwiSaver Deduction
Select "Employee Settings", then "Employee Details". Select an employee from the left-hand side and then select "KiwiSaver " under "Other Details".
Select "Add". Here you can choose what the employee would like to do.
For example, "Opt-In / Alteration", "On-savings Suspension", "Off Suspension", "Opt-Out", "Casual Employee" and "Not Eligible".
Staying with "Opt-In", enter the required percentage for the employee, then enter the company's contribution.
Select "Save".
Note: An employee needs to opt-in for the first two weeks they are employed, and then has six weeks from then to opt-out from KiwiSaver.
